THE PERSON BEHIND THE PAGES
About Lecia
A little about me, the stories I tell, and what inspires them.
HELLO. I'M LECIA
I'm endlessly curious about the world around me.
I've always been fascinated by the natural world, human behavior, and the unexpected places where the two intersect. That curiosity finds its way into just about everything I write.
My writing journey has taken me in some interesting directions. My first book, The White Allies Handbook, is nonfiction. My novel, The Ornis Project, takes me into the world of suspense, science, and the sometimes unsettling possibilities of human ambition.
When I'm not writing, you'll often find me outdoors with a camera, photographing birds and paying attention to the little things that make the natural world extraordinary. I also love traveling, learning new things, and following my curiosity wherever it leads.
I'm glad you're here. I hope you'll stay awhile and explore the stories.
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME
Always Curious. Always Learning.
Whether I'm working on a manuscript, looking through a camera lens, or discovering something new, I believe there's always another story waiting to be found.
